Is technology destroy human interaction?

Technology plays a huge role in society. People are starting to change their ways of life to keep up with technology. Technology giving us a lot of benefits, in contrast having technology also have a negative effect as well.

We are living in an era where technological advances are common. The internet and cell phones are some examples.

From the article of a “Cyber Cuscuta Manifesto”, which talked about the coexistence of internet, technology, and humans. Everything was started from us, it can say that the internet cannot live without us and we cannot live without the internet as well. Technology has impacted society is through communication, how we talk and communicate with one another worldwide. Technology brought many new methods of electronic communication.

From the story of “THE VELDT”. that talking about one family living by using the machines which from technology to drive everything for them. There is no interaction happen for bond the family relationship and their children feel like that they don’t need parents anymore they can alive without their parents.

I try to imagine my life without technology and the internet. I can not live without them. Before I sleep and after I awake, the first thing that I do is check the Line message and check the Instagram stories. When I am home with my parents, I always talking with them by texting in Line application because I am lazy to walk out of my room. When my big family get meet, most of teenagers age are on their phone among the dining table, most time I snap the food or surrounding and post on social and when the cousins see the post, they will express the feelings by comment or sticker tap, we hear together but we didn’t talk to each other. During my internship, I always working on the computer and I take focus on the screen only, when I want to talk or ask anything with my friend that around there I usually text them instead of talking face to face. From the story “The Veldt” and my real-life story make me think about technology is convenient for us but it is also destroying the interaction of people as well.
